Knowledge Management

dimensions of knowledge management

Knowledge Management  (KM). "Knowledge management is essentially about getting the right knowledge to the right person at the right time." Suomeksi knowledge management (KM) on käännetty mm. tietämyksen hallinnaksi, tietojohtamiseksi ja tiedolla johtamiseksi. (Knowledge management 17.3.2017.)

Koening (2012) nostaa esiin Darenportin (1994) paljon käytetyn ajatuksen KM:stä "Knowledge management (KM) is the process of capturing, distributing, and effectively using knowledge." Voinee kääntää jotenkin siihen suuntaan, että tietojohtaminen on prosessi jolla hallinnoidaan, analysoidaan ja hyödynnetään tehokkaasti tietoa kohdeorganisaatiossa.
